We made it to Switzerland! And with a whole year of missed blogging while we were in Utah, I don't think I can afford to wait much longer to fill in the holes of that past month. So prepare yourselves for an onslaught of pictures, unedited because right now, it just seems like too much work.
This is the car that we get to scoot around in. It's a VW Sharan, and it's fantastic! I'm totally loving the sliding minivan doors in the back because Switz's roads and parking spots are NARROW. Everything is just smaller here. Scott drove for the first week we were here 'cause I was just too chicken. It's a stick shift and we all found out just how rusty Scott is with a manual transmission. Crazy Driver!
For the first few days that we were here Scott tried his best to help all of us with jetlag. Oh baby, that was awful! I didn't really sleep on the flight over. I had Lyvi on my lap and this huge belly and major edema so I was hammered by the time we got here. Let's not forget about Lyvi falling asleep and peeing on me on the flight! I was literally sitting in a puddle of pee until my pants absorbed it all. Luckily I'm like a girl scout and packed to be prepared. I had a change of clothes packed for everyone but Scott and a few antibacterial wipes. I did pack a pullup for Lyvs, but of course I thought she didn't need it.

Across the street from our apartment there's a great park for the girls. It was toasty so the little wader pool was filled with water for the kids. I had to include this photo 'cause you really can see what incredibly legs Lyvi has. She's so ripped.
In Switzerland it's customary for people to install their own overhead light fixture. So the only lights we had in the apartment for a couple of days were the kitchen light and the bathroom lights. This is our first dinner in Switz, pretty much eating in the dark. We did have a little light spilling over from the kitchen.
